  • Seniors going on GradNite need to pick up and return their permission slips to D1 ASAP
  • Attention Seniors Please tell us how you would like your middle names printed on your high school diploma. Students have 3 options, include your middle name (s), exclude your middle name (s), or use your middle initial. Students who fail to complete the google form will have their diplomas printed with first and last name only. If you do not complete the form and find that you do not like how your name is printed on your diploma a reprint fee of $40 will be required to process a new diploma for you. QR Codes can be found around campus and in your senior google classroom.Please complete no later than April 12th.
  • Hey, cougars! If you have a cool talent to show off, make sure to audition for spring showcase. The link for auditions can be found on instagram on jfk.updates!
  • Attention Juniors! We are 2 weeks away from Junior Prom! This year’s Junior Prom is A Night @ the Museum on April 20th from 7-10pm at the California Automobile Museum. This week tickets are $60 for ASB cardholders or $65/regular! Next week prices increase so make sure to buy your ticket soon! Check out jfkclassof25 on instagram for more details 
  • Seniors, if you have committed to playing a sport at a college or university next year and are interested in participating in Kennedy’s Signing Day, please email Mr. Hetzler or stop by his office to let him know the sport and school you will be playing at next year.

  • Hey freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are you interested in working this summer? Summer at city hall applications are out now! Summer at city hall is an internship based program earning $500 and 5 extra elective credits at the end of 6 weeks. You will learn about civic engagement and local government jobs while having fun! Look at the flyers in the counselor office and around the school for the QR code. Applications close April 19. 
  • Congratulations to Ms. Goding, who won march staff of the month! make sure to vote for april staff of the month, which will come out in a couple weeks!
  • Hey Artists! There is a student Art Show This Friday at 5pm hosted by the Verge Art Gallery in Downtown Sacramento! Come out and check out some amazing art, meet other artists in the region and grab some free snacks! Make a Friday night of it and invite your friends! Participating JFK Artists include Ethan Yang, Isla Seelig, Lani Vinson, Reggie Thompson, Lauren Lopez-Nelson, Sean Fetros, Jennifer Thao, Jaiden Hashimoto, Jackson Hammad, Kirra Douglas, Kyara Sigheti, Siri Thompson- and many more super talented artists from our high school! See you there!
  • SENIORS! In a month or so you will be turning in your books and chromebooks to the library. Please take account of what you have and what you owe. Letters have been sent home to parents for overdue books. If you have questions, see Mr. Campos in the library. Last, if you’ve lost your chromebook charger, during checkout you will be charged $25, or you can purchase one beforehand at Amazon or elsewhere at a fraction of the cost.

The Student Support Center will be hosting Another Choice Another Chance on campus with dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories for you to try on and take home! With prom around the corner, don’t miss out on this opportunity to perfect your prom look! Stop by the Student Support Center for more information.
