  • Attention all Cougars! The 2019 Shriner’s Children’s Hospital Toy Drive has begun! Donate new or gently used toys to your English classes! The class with the most toys will win a pizza party! The last day to donate is December 18th!
  • Attention students — Poetry Out Loud is back! All students are invited to compete by reciting a poem of their choice from www.PoetryOutLoud.org. If you are ready to bring your reciting skills to the Kennedy stage, please talk to your English teacher. Hurry up — the school-wide competition is coming December 20th!
  • Seniors, Remember to vote for best dressed, best couple, most athletic senior etc. AND to submit your baby pictures for the yearbook to Mr. Campos in the library. ALL votes and pictures must be turned in by Wednesday, December 18 to qualify.  So get to it!
  • Attention all boys interested in playing on the Cougar Tennis Team this spring.  There will be a sign up and information meeting on Wednesday – after school – in the boys locker room.  Contact Coach Parsh if you have any questions.
  • JFK Track and Field Team Pre season conditioning sessions will begin Monday December 9th @ 3:30 pm on the track.  In case of heavy rain meet in front of the cafeteria. Pre season conditioning will continue each Monday and Wednesday afternoon that school is in session until our regular season daily practice begins on February 11th.   Winter sport athletes may join us after their winter sport commitment ends in February.
  • Congrats to the men’s soccer team for beating Encina prep last night 5-1

  • The women soccer teams will have a home game against Galt today Jv @ 5 Var @ 6:30
  • The men’s basketball teams will have an away game against Monterey Trails today Fresh @4 Jv @5:30 Var @7
  • The women basketball teams will have an away game at Monterey Trails tomorrow Jv @ 5:30 Var @ 7
  • The wrestling team will have a tournament at River Valley on Saturday
