  • Attention all Cougars! The 2019 Shriner’s Children’s Hospital Toy Drive has begun! Donate new or gently used toys to your English classes! The class with the most toys will win a pizza party! The last day to donate is December 18th!
  • Attention all clubs! Club cookout #2 is tonight from 5:30-7 while supplies last! $3 will get you a doughnut and a hot chocolate! Come support your class or club!
  • Attention all Cougars! Next week is winter spirit week! Check the flyers around campus for spirit days and help your class win!
  • Seniors, Remember to vote for best dressed, best couple, most athletic senior etc. AND to submit your baby pictures for the yearbook to Mr. Campos in the library. ALL votes and pictures must be turned in by Wednesday, December 18 to qualify.  So get to it!
  • Attention students! Poetry Out Loud is back! If you are interested in competing, please talk to your English teachers . All students can compete in reciting the poem of their choice from anthology. Hurry up, the competition is approaching this December!”
  • SENIORS. Class of 2020. Good News.  Lifetouch or Prestige Portraits has extended the deadline for Senior Portraits to December 7, 2019. But that is the FINAL deadline. So delay and schedule your pictures with Prestige Portraits at the Elk Grove  location. 
  • Attention powder puff players! If you have not returned your jersey yet, please do so to Mr. O in C207 by tomorrow! Bills will go out next week for all players who have not returned your jersey!
  • JFK Track and Field Team Pre season conditioning sessions will begin Monday December 9th @ 3:30 pm on the track.  In case of heavy rain meet in front of the cafeteria.
  • Pre season conditioning will continue each Monday and Wednesday afternoon that school is in session until our regular season daily practice begins on February 11th.   Winter sport athletes may join us after their winter sport commitment ends in February.
  • Winter Conditioning has begun for the Kennedy Baseball Program for this upcoming Spring season. All those interested in trying out for the Spring baseball teams, meet in the weightroom in workout/gym attire and shoes at 3:35pm Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s. If you have further questions, contact Coach Fitzgerald at his email on the JFK athletic website. Go Cougars!
  • The boy’s JV basketball team is playing in the Sheldon tournament tonight at 8
  • The boys’s soccer team has a home game on Monday at 6:30
  • The girl’s soccer team has an away game at Galt on Monday at 6:30
