  • Applying to jobs or internships soon? Come learn how to write a resume or get yours looked at Wednesday after school in the library. Everyone is welcome! 
  • Attention all clubs! Your orders and money for club cookout #2 are due tomorrow to Mr. O in C207! Please turn them in by 3:30!
  • Key Club is hosting a toy drive this week in Mr. Taos’ room (T13) . Spread the joy this holiday and donate toys which benefits the Sacramento Food Bank and Family services and JFK soccer. You can even earn up to 10 Key Club points!Attention all Cougars! Next week is winter spirit week! Check the flyers around campus for spirit days and help your class win!
  • Seniors, Remember to vote for best dressed, best couple, most athletic senior etc. AND to submit your baby pictures for the yearbook to Mr. Campos in the library. ALL votes and pictures must be turned in by Wednesday, December 18 to qualify.  So get to it!
  • Attention students! Poetry Out Loud is back! If you are interested in competing, please talk to your English teachers . All students can compete in reciting the poem of their choice from anthology. Hurry up, the competition is approaching this December!”
  • SENIORS. Class of 2020. Good News.  Lifetouch or Prestige Portraits has extended the deadline for Senior Portraits to December 7, 2019. But that is the FINAL deadline. So delay and schedule your pictures with Prestige Portraits at the Elk Grove  location.
  • Winter Conditioning has begun for the Kennedy Baseball Program for this upcoming Spring season. All those interested in trying out for the Spring baseball teams, meet in the weightroom in workout/gym attire and shoes at 3:35pm Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s. If you have further questions, contact Coach Fitzgerald at his email on the JFK athletic website. Go Cougars!
  • JFK Track and Field Team Pre season conditioning sessions will begin Monday December 9th @ 3:30 pm on the track.  In case of heavy rain meet in front of the cafeteria.
  • Pre season conditioning will continue each Monday and Wednesday afternoon that school is in session until our regular season daily practice begins on February 11th.   Winter sport athletes may join us after their winter sport commitment ends in February.
  • The women soccer teams will have a home game against El Camino today Jv @ 5:30 Var @ 7
  • The men’s basketball teams will have an away game against St Francis @ Whitney high school on Wednesday
  • The women basketball teams will have an away game at Del Oro today Jv @ 5:30 Var @ 7
  • The wrestling team will have a scrimmage at Center on Wednesday from 4-6
